A chronicle, not a fan page
Trump Team Report tracks the second Trump administration the way a beat reporter tracks a team: who holds each job, what they promised, what they did this week, and what it adds up to. Every claim on this site is attributed to the source it came from — the White House wire, the official’s own channels, the hearing record — and criticism is carried alongside the administration’s own account, with its source named.
How the record is kept
- Official channels first. Announcements are sourced to the White House email wire, the President’s Truth Social, and each official’s own verified accounts before any secondary reporting is used.
- The scoreboard is computed, not vibes. Each official’s wins, pending items, and setbacks are tallied from published weekly scoreboard entries. A mixed week is split into separate items rather than averaged away.
- Promises are tracked in the promiser’s own words, with a dated evidence log and a status — Kept, In Progress, Stalled, Broken, or Superseded — that has to be earned by evidence.
- Departed officials stay on the record. When someone leaves, their profile moves to the former officials archive with their tenure intact. Nothing is quietly deleted.
